Amorepacific and Junevity have formed a licensing and investment partnership to translate transcription factor–based cellular rejuvenation into topical cosmetic products. Junevity's platform combines human disease omics, genetic linkage data and machine learning to identify transcription factor targets, building on published work in which modulating single transcription factors reversed hallmarks of cellular aging in human fibroblasts. The approach shifts skin aging intervention from surface chemistry toward upstream gene network regulation.

Longevity Analysis
Skin remains the most accessible tissue for testing cellular rejuvenation in humans, and transcription factor modulation targets the regulatory layer that determines whether fibroblasts maintain collagen output or drift toward a senescent, inflammatory state. The relevant question for practitioners is whether topical delivery can reach the dermal compartment at concentrations sufficient to shift gene networks, rather than acting only on the barrier. Skin aging is also substantially driven by exposures that can be removed — ultraviolet radiation, glycation load, tobacco smoke, chronic sleep restriction — and no gene-network intervention will outperform the removal of ongoing damage.
