Singapore Trains Capital Allocators to Vet Longevity Claims

The NUS Academy for Healthy Longevity will run its first Healthy Longevity Executive Masterclass in Singapore from 16–18 November, training 30 senior executives and capital allocators to evaluate longevity propositions on evidence rather than marketing. Roughly 20% of the curriculum covers aging biology and biomarkers, with the remainder devoted to markets, capital and strategic decision-making, and participants wear continuous glucose monitors and undergo clinical assessment of fitness, strength and body composition. Decision quality at the funding level increasingly determines which interventions reach clinical and consumer use.

Key Points

  • Three-day Singapore program trains 30 executives in geroscience evaluation
  • Twenty percent biology, eighty percent markets, capital and strategy
  • Participants wear glucose monitors and complete personal clinical assessments

Longevity Analysis

Capital allocation now functions as a filter on which longevity interventions ever reach people, making the ability to distinguish a validated mechanism from an overextended one a matter of public health rather than portfolio performance. Teaching executives what an epigenetic clock measures — and what it does not — is a decoding exercise applied to evidence rather than physiology, and the deliberate option to decline is as consequential as the option to fund. Pairing that instruction with continuous glucose data and measures of cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and body composition gives participants direct experience of how daily inputs register in energy regulation and structural reserve, which tends to sharpen judgment in ways abstract demography does not.
